All of our recycling services and processes are in full compliance with federal, state and local regulations. NV Recycling collects, categorizes, tests, repairs & disassembles used, unwanted equipment. We follow the newest R2 structure to properly handle your retired electronic equipment, reuse working devices, recycle non-working devices & properly dispose of items that can't be recycled. Electronics are mainly composed of three materials: metal, plastic and circuit boards. Most non-usable electronics are broken down in our Carson City facility. Recovered materials are sent to reputable large-scale smelters that have the lowest environmental impact. This recycling process conserves Planet Earth’s natural resources & the energy required to produce new electronic equipment, so all parties involved can feel they’re doing their part to help our increasingly fragile environment.
Nevada is a state with the lowest legislative requirement for e-waste recycling. It is not required for people to recycle e-waste. If you bring electronics to a dump, they will accept it and possibly bury it in the landfill. That is why we particularly thank all businesses and members of the public who are willing to spend their time and effort to make our beautiful state a better place to live in. People need to have enough environmental awareness information to want to recycle. We feel it is important for us to be here to help this group of people to keep as much e-waste out of our landfills as possible and to help our community be sustainable.
