Recycling Information for the Public
Due to the lack of manpower, NV Recycling is not accepting residential e-waste drop off at this time. But there are plenty useful recycling resources for the public.
No. 1 KTMB Recycling Guide
Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to create a more sustainable community in Northern Nevada region. The group creates a very detailed and comprehensive guide for local residents to deal with all types of household waste. And this Guide is updated annually. Please refer to KTMB Recycling Guide for all your recycling needs and questions.
No. 2 BestBuy Recycling Program
Most BestBuy stores have recycling program for e-waste. It is a great and convenient way to drop off and recycle small amount of e-waste. The most important is that it is free for most electronics. Please note that the limitation is set to 3 items per household per day and they also have size requirements on TVs and CRT monitors. Please check BestBuy Recycling Web Page for more details.
